Vintage 1959 Gibson Electric Guitars

Vintage 1959 Gibson Guitars

The 1959 Gibson ES-345 Electric Guitar is a rare vintage find. The Gibson name is found at the top of the front of the neck in inlaid brass. These guitars have a particular profile with a sweet, harmonic, open sound.

The only major change to the Les Paul Standard was the addition of “jumbo” frets, which made possible more dramatic bends. This particular guitar became really popular when players like Eric Clapton, Mike Bloomfield, and Peter Green began using it. This “royal” guitar in the minds of the professionals and collectors makes even the reproductions extremely valuable.
